Jean wins second UCP debate, puts forward positive vision

Today, Brian Jean won the United Conservative Party’s second leadership debate. Brian Jean brought his bold, positive vision on labour issues, health care in Alberta and Alberta’s education system to the debate, UCP Airdrie MLA Angela Pitt said today.

Brian Jean released a full range of policy priorities early on in the leadership race including Here for Education, Fixing Equalization: Standing Up for Alberta, Here for Patients: Brian Jean’s 2030 vision for Alberta’s health care system, Here for Victims & the Vulnerable: Strengthening our Justice System, Protecting Freedom & Democracy and Here for Albertans: Securing our economic future.

“Brian’s positive vision and policy priorities for Alberta have been gaining massive traction across the province,” Pitt said. “Albertans want to know where United Conservative leadership candidates stand on policy issues, and Brian’s given them exactly that.”

Brian Jean’s policy vision has helped solidify his dominating lead over his rivals in major independent, scientific polls since Dec. 2016.

“Albertans know that Brian Jean is the only United Conservative candidate that can win seats in every region of the province in 2019. The response has been truly overwhelming,” Pitt said. “Thousands of Albertans from across the province have volunteered, organized and sold memberships, motivated that Brian will secure the leadership next month, save Albertans from the NDP in 2019 and elect a government that’s here for all Albertans.”
