Dr. Kellie Leitch, Parliamentary Secretary, meeting community leaders to discuss jobs and economic growth

Fort McMurray, AB, January 25, 2012 — Dr. Kellie Leitch, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, today on behalf of the Honourable Diane Finley, is holding discussions with local business, academic and community leaders.  She is seeking advice on how best to ensure that Canada’s economy continues to produce jobs and growth in a difficult global economy.

“Creating jobs and growing Canada’s economy remains our government’s top priority as we move forward with the next phase of our Economic Action Plan: Budget 2012,” said Parliamentary Secretary Kellie Leitch. “We are here today to hear from Canadians on how to continue delivering the stability our country needs for a sustainable and prosperous recovery.”
