It’s hard to believe it’s time for students at all levels to head back to the classroom. That, of course, means drivers must observe the 30 km/h school zones and be alert for unexpected actions of children walking back and forth to school. Bus drivers have a huge responsibility getting our children to and from school safely. Please help them by stopping when their flashing lights are on and stay stopped until the bus driver has retracted the stop sign and turned off the flashing lights. Let’s all make it a goal to be extra cautious around schools and playgrounds.
