HAPPY CANADA DAY TO ALL!

This year’s Canada Day celebrations will be more than just a fantastic 142nd birthday party for our great country. Over the past year all Canadians have had the opportunity to truly appreciate, and to demonstrate to the world, that we are among the strongest, most resilient, and proudest of nations.

So, this Canada Day is really our day. It is a day for us as Canadians to take pride in the fact that the quality of life that we enjoy in our communities, workplaces, schools, and at home with our families, is the best in the world, and that it continues to improve day by day.

Canada is strong and confident, because Canadians are strong and confident. The best thing that we can do for our country is to continue to work positively within our communities and industries, to build on our strengths, to stimulate growth and progress, and to move forward with optimism to become the best that we can be.

I am very proud to continue to be the voice Northern Alberta in Ottawa, and I believe that today and every day we should all feel proud to call ourselves Canadian.
