Dear Friends,

Albertans’ voices were clear after the recent federal election—the Government was asked to continue to govern and to work towards positive change. Canada may now continue on a course of stability, strength and prosperity.

Once again, I am deeply honoured to have been chosen to represent the interests of Northern Albertans in Ottawa and I thank you for your support and confidence.  I promise to work hard, be honest and stand accountable to every constituent.

It is also an honour to have been re-appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure, and Communities, now the Honourable John Baird.  It is, indeed, a great compliment to our region. I am also pleased to be working with Minister of State for Transport, the Honourable Rob Merrifield, MP for Yellowhead, AB.

I look forward to continuing my work with my colleagues in Transport and Infrastructure, as well as with our municipalities and other regional stakeholders towards the improvement of our region, quality of life for its citizens and the creation of strong, vibrant communities in Northern Alberta.
