Trees are budding, Canada Geese have returned, rivers flow free of ice and we’ve had a taste of the warm weather to come. Spring is in the air across Northern Alberta.

RVs are travelling the highways and camping season has begun. Northern Alberta boasts many wonderful camping areas with a variety of outdoor activities in the surrounding areas. Fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, golfing and, of course, the many regional activities the spring and summer bring are only some of what our area offers.

Indulge in all that Northern Alberta abounds with, but please be respectful of our environment and leave each area you visit as you found it.

Burning bans are in effect in much of the region so it would be wise to check before you leave home.
