MP Brian Jean Visits Tours Northern Alberta and Announces New Federal Government Community Funding

This fall, Member of Parliament for Fort McMurray-Athabasca, Brian Jean, will be visiting towns and villages across the riding to announce new funding for integral community-based projects. Here is Mr. Jean’s schedule of public events: FRIDAY, November 6th FORT MCMURRAY MP Jean will join the Mayor, torch bearers, and other Olympic dignitaries to mark this historic event. 3:30pm Olympic Torch Relay Ceremonies MONDAY, November 9th ATHABASCA 10:30am Athabasca University Announcement Event, AU MP Jean will join the Mayor, MLA, University President and staff at Athabasca University for another funding announcement for Athabasca University. SLAVE LAKE 4 pm Slave Lake Announcement Event, Slave Lake Arena MP Jean will join the Mayor, MLA, Council and community members for a series of funding announcements at the arena. TUESDAY, November 10th SUMMER VILLAGES 10:30am Summer Villages of Whispering Hills & Island Lake MP Jean will join the project directors and community members for an announcement in these communities. PLAMONDON 3pm Plamondon Announcement Event, Plamondon Arena MP Jean will join the project directors and community members for an announcement at the arena. WEDNESDAY, November 11th FORT MCMURRAY 11am Remembrance Day Celebrations, Fort McMurray Legion MP Jean will join Legion and community members to commemorate local veterans at this annual event. |
